We’ve got a taste for playing together! Since January all the cello workshops are full and because Lotte can’t teach on June 1st – she’s going to the cello festival in Dordrecht– Koen and I will take over the Saturday. Koen is Koen Schouten, our cello teacher in Amsterdam on Saturday and from April also on Tuesday afternoon.
We prepare a nice long workshop for everyone who reads this blog post, student or not, beginner or advanced, playing the cello together in two groups. One group will be on the Archangel quay 600 meters from the cello studio, where the other group will be seated. In between we will have lunch with sandwiches that will be delivered.
How do we see the day?
Walk in at both addresses from 9.30 am, coffee and tea is ready. We start at 10.00 am. At noon the sandwiches arrive at both addresses and Koen and I change locations; the cellists stay at the same address. Dietary wishes will of course be noted!
At 2 p.m. we round everything off, and there is something to eat and drink on the Haparandaweg to catch up on.
Are you in? You are welcome, regardless of your level. As soon as we have an overview of the subscribers, we will email you the chosen music. It will be playable so that we don’t need too much preparation time and above all we have the head free to make nice music.
The contribution for cellists who receive this BlogPost is € 75.00 including lunch, snacks and coffee, tea and juice.
Do you bring a cell tomato that did not receive this Blogpost we charge € 85,00.
In the Houthavens it is like everywhere else within the ring road paid parking at € 3.00 per hour. I try to get 10 parking permits a € 10.00 which allow you to park on the business park Archangelweg. That is in front of the Archangelkade 15 location, and 400 meters from the studio on the Haparandaweg.
Please note: there is no refund possible. If you sign up, Koen and I will assume that you’re in.
