Maybe I told you about it in person but I’m podcasting. What’s a podcast? It’s nothing more or less than a radio broadcast, a sound file, that you can listen to whenever you want.
My podcast is called Cello playing with Scarlett and can be heard from Wednesday April 15, 2020 on:
.
Spotify
https://open.spotify.com/show/0Ug1HhDl18f5589f4eJsgB
Anchor.fm
https://anchor.fm/scarlett-arts
and smaller channels. Every week you can hear a new episode on Wednesday.
I came up with the idea because I myself drive between Drenthe and Amsterdam, i.e. between home and work very much like to listen to podcasts. Did you know that people listen to something for much longer than watching a movie, for example? So I thought that someone who wants to hear something about playing the cello or cellists might want to listen to my episodes.
What does my podcast bring you?
I alternate between my cello tips and conversations with cellists like Lucia Swarts, writers of cello books like Rick Mooney, cello teachers like Anne van Laar who is completely at home in the world of the Suzuki method.
Also a conversation with Maarten Mostert founder and spiritual father of the Cello Biennale and a conversation with the best cello builder in the Netherlands, Jaap Bolink.
I hope you want to help me. Listen to my podcasts and tell me what you think. I think that’s pretty exciting! Who could I interview and what questions would you like to hear? In other words, what kind of content are you waiting for?
I’d love to hear from you! Mail me at info@celloverkoop.nl.
Great regards,
Scarlett

Did you have that too, that when you started playing the cello you had a piece in your head that you hoped you would play someday? With me, it was Bach's first cello suite, as with so many. But over the years I got to know more and more pieces. When I was 19 I got my...
Cello workshops 2019-2020 registration opened
I look back on the almost finished class year (because I don't stop in the summer holidays). Giving cello lessons is a party and I am so happy with all my students. They always get in the car and drive back and forth from the Almelo region to Breda. Or who come from...
